Google Code Jam

2014 - ACM ICPC World Finals

St. Petersburg State University won the world championship in a competition of "122 teams of three chosen from a field of 32,043 contestants from 2,286 universities in 94 countries on six continents". The finals were on June 25, 2014, in Yekaterinbug, Russia.

2013 - ACM ICPC World Finals

St. Petersburg National Research University of IT, Mechanics and Optics won on July 3, 2013, for the second year in a row. This year "120 teams of three chosen from a field of 29,826 contestants from 2,322 universities in 91 countries on six continents" competed at St. Petersburg, Russia.

2012 - ACM ICPC World Finals

St. Petersburg National Research University of IT, Mechanics and Optics won the world finals. The competition featured the top 112 teams of students "from over 8,000 teams selected from 2,219 universities in 85 countries". The competition was hosted by the University of Warsaw, Poland.

Active Years

2004 - ACM ICPC World Finals

This year St. Petersburg State University of IT, Mechanics, and Optics won the world championship in Obecni Dum, Prague, Czech with 73 teams attending. Participants came "from 3,150 teams selected from 1,411 universities in 75 countries competing at 127 sites and hundreds more competing at preliminary contests worldwide".

2003 - ACM ICPC World Finals

Warsaw University received first place at the world finals on March 25, 2003, in Beverly Hills, California. The 70 student came from regionals consisting of "3,850 teams selected from 1,329 universities in 68 countries competing at 106 sites and preliminary contests worldwide".

2002 - ACM ICPC World Finals

Shanghai JiaoTong University won the 64-team world finals in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 23, 2002. The finals students came from a larger pool of "3,082 teams representing over 1,300 universities in 67 countries on six continents".
